Opened in 2009, we are the first hostel in Berat and the second in all of Albania. Situated in the historical Gorica quarter of town – the house is a 300 year old Grade 2 listed building with many of the original features. Both the property and the town are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
We have 5 vine covered terraces filled with comfortable places to relax with many fruit trees including; fig, pomegranate, cherry, orange, kaki and ftoi trees.
You can enjoy our amenities which include 6 bathrooms, 7 showers, Guest Kitchen, Chill-out Room, Laundry Facilities, multiple Tours available, Maps, Towels, Hairdryers and WiFi in all areas.
There is a full bar service offering soft drinks, local beers, Berati wine and spirits. Breakfast is also included serving byrak, breads, cheese & jams, tea & fresh coffee.
Berat is a UNESCO protected town flanked by the enormous Tomorri Mountain ad split by the Osumi River. The town is well known for it’s beautifully preserved Ottoman style houses, and is famously known as ‘the city of thousand windows’.
Berat is also home to one of the longest continuously inhabited citadel in Europe, The Kalaja. We are also well known as one of the most tolerant countries in the world, with Churches and Mosques next door to one another.

“Staff is very friendly and ready to help you with any question. They give you lot of details to what to do in Berat and other places in Albania. The place is very nice especially to have a beer and a little chat in the evening with the staff. The breakfast is very good. There is no way you will find a cheaper place to stay in Berat at 4mn walk from downtown.
